Founded by local artist Carly Jandl, this welcoming space doubles as a gallery, classroom, and supply shop. Whether you’re a painting beginner or seasoned artist, Carly’s step-by-step painting classes—held at the studio or local venues—offer a therapeutic and creative outlet inspired by Duluth’s Northland beauty.

Hosting an event of your own and would like to offer an instructed paint class?
Rate: $400 for 10 or fewer painters. Add $40/painter for any more than 10
Includes: All supplies needed for each participant to paint a 16×20 canvas, two hours of artist-led demonstration, set-up and clean-up, and up to one hour of use of the space before or after class.

Private Lessons:
One-on-one lessons with Carly!
Enhance your acrylic painting knowledge with guided sessions where we sit down and work together at creating a piece of art. Learn basic to advanced acrylic techniques including, but not limited to, color theory, proper brush use, and texture creation. Choose your own subject! Come prepared with an idea in mind or bring a photo for reference. We can also start from scratch and discuss areas of interest regarding subject matter and further your current techniques. Are you a novice? Not to worry! I will meet you at your current level of experience.
Rate: $100/hr – can be split by up to 2 people during the same time slot
Includes: one-on-one time with yours truly, a private space to work together, a personalized program that works best for your needs, and all materials necessary to complete the work. You are more than welcome to bring any supplies you’d like.
